This is what to expect:

 

After reviewing your medical and dental history, Dr. Wiemer will perform a comprehensive exam including the following:

 

• Oral cancer screening and soft tissue exam

 

• Periodontal charting and evaluation of the tooth supporting bone and gum tissues

 

• Evaluation of your bite and jaw joints

 

• Evaluation of your teeth for any fractures, cavities, spaces or other problems

 

• Documentation of all existing dental work

 

• Necessary digital X-ray images

 

If your needs are relatively simple, Dr. Wiemer will present you with your treatment options and address any of your concerns and questions.

 

If your treatment needs are more complex, your treatment options will be presented to you at a later consultation visit (at no additional charge).

 

If your periodontal condition is satisfactory, a preventive cleaning with our dental hygienist is possible on the same day as the exam.
